Knit Club - First Quilt Done!

In Knit Club, we’ve been having fun trying new stitch patterns with a project involving 7-inch squares in pastel colors. This first baby blanket will be auctioned off at the annual Hoodland Pre-School auction. I’m so proud of the girls…. the blanket turned out great! I think this was a fun opportunity to pull out the ol’ Treasury of Knitting or Vogue Stitch Pattern books, and give the prettiest or most unusual patterns a whirl. April 20 Club Those of you who are curious as to what Knit Club is, well, essentially it’s a “Stitch & Bitch”… we meet in the basement of the restaurant next door for a little social interaction amongst fellow yarners. All are welcome to join in – pick up some sticks, hook, wheel, spindle, loom, or anything that makes you look like you belong in a room of flying fiber & bouncing yarn balls – come on down!

Our next blanket is ready to be assembled…..lookin’ fab! work-in-progress 3rd SUNDAY of each month… 3:00pm. Zig Zag Inn- Basement. Be there.

  1. I missed this by a day. I’ve recently moved up full-time and have been eyeing your shop. I came online to figure out your hours and find that I could have dropped by last night. You will probably see me later in the week

  2. Bummer you missed out!!! We’d love to have you… next club will be June 15th, after that, July 20… Hope to see you there!
